By continuing to browse and use this website, your are agreeing to comply and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions of use which along with our Privacy Policy govern the relationship of Radiation Readiness with you. If you disagree at anytime with any part of these Terms and conditions you must cease from using this website.

The content of this website is for your general information and use only. It is subject to change without notice. Neither we nor any one else provide any guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of the information and materials found or offered on this website for any particular purpose. You acknowledge that such information and materials may contain inaccuracies or errors and we expressly exclude liability for any such inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Your use of any information or materials on this website is entirely at your own risk, for which we shall not be liable. It shall be your own responsibility to ensure that any products, services or information available though this website meet your specific requirements. This website contains material which is owned by or licensed to us. This material includes, but is not limited to, the design, layout, look, appearance and graphics. Preproduction is prohibited other than in accordance with the copyright notice, which forms part to these Terms and Conditions. This website may also include links to other websites or content. These links are provided for your convenience to provide further information. They do not signify that we endorse the website(s), nor that they endorse us. We have no responsibility for the content of the linked website(s).

You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorised purpose nor may you, in the use of the Service, violate any laws in your country.
You must not transmit any viruses or any code of a destructive nature.
A breach or violation of any of the Terms will result in an immediate termination of your Services.

Privacy

Radiation Readiness tries to collect as little data about you as possible, yet there are some essential bits that are necessary.

Examples of Personal Information collected: version of web browser, IP address, time zone, cookie information, what sites or products you view, search terms, and how you interact with the Site.

  • Purpose of collection: to load the Site accurately for you, and to perform analytics on Site usage to optimise our Site.

  • Source of collection: Collected automatically when you access our Site using cookies, log files, web beacons, tags, or pixels.

  • Disclosure for a business purpose: shared with our processor Squarespace.

  • Examples of Personal Information collected: name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (processed by Stripe and PayPal), email address, and phone number.

  • Purpose of collection: to provide products or services to you to fulfill our contract, to process your payment information, arrange for shipping, and provide you with invoices and/or order confirmations, communicate with you, screen our orders for potential risk or fraud, and when in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

  • Source of collection: collected from you.

  • Disclosure for a business purpose: shared with our processor Squarespace.

Besides the basic information customers provide us, such as, but not limited to, name, address etc. used for shipping and delivery; data collection for analytics, provided to us by Squarespace, and to provide a functional and secure website, Radiation Readiness does not know of any other data collected or used. We do not distribute, exchange or sell any information provided to us.

We may share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

We do not store or have access to any credit or debit card details. Transactions are processed by Stripe or PayPal.

Security

Radiation Readiness is powered by Squarespace and provided an SSL certificate. This provides radiationreadiness.com and its users the confidence of a secure website and secure checkout. This security can be verified by the padlock symbol to the left of the website URL and the following prefix https://.

Refusal of Transaction

Radiation Readiness reserves the right to cancel any order at any time. We reserve the right to add, modify and remove any content on this website. We reserve the right to refuse to process a transaction and service to anyone for any reason at anytime.

Liability

Radiation Readiness will not be held liable to you or any third party for modifying any product or any part of this website; or for cancelling, refusing or modifying an order. We will not be held liable for instances outside of our control or influence. Such as, but not limited to, the late delivery of a product or order due to the postal service, customs, searches, seizures, fines, etc.

Shipping

Radiation Readiness offers free shipping to all buyers within Great Britain. We will try and dispatch orders within 3 working days. Any orders made from Friday to Sunday including, will be dispatched from the following Monday. We use whatever postal service or courier at our discretion. For our benefit and yours packages will typically be tracked and signed for.

Return Policy and Refunds

While we rigorously and diligently reservice, test and ensure our equipment works before shipping, there may arise the occasion that one may need to return an item purchased by you from us. It may also arise that packages are mishandled in the post, when such an instance or concern arises please take a photo of the outside box before opening. If items arrive damaged or faulty it is imperative that you contact us immediately. We will replace or refund damaged or faulty items and the consequential return shipping cost under the pretext that they are immediately returned to us.

The buyer is notified that they have the right to cancel or request a refund from us within 14 days of receiving their goods, provided they are returned to us. Unless otherwise arranged, transaction and processing fees taken by PayPal and or Stripe for the initial purchase will not be refunded to the buyer, whether the refund be requested by the buyer or issued by Radiation Readiness. Concerning non-faulty items, the buyer is responsible for the return of all goods and the cost therein. All sales of ore are final and non-refundable. The buyer assumes responsibility for any searches or seizures of any and all products and is responsible for researching what is allowed to enter into their country. Product Warranty

Certain products (Geiger counters, survey meters, dosimeters and certain services) sold or provided by Radiation Readiness may come with a warranty. Warranties are applied to those products or services that ever malfunction or present technical issues emanating from the product itself.

If a malfunctioning or faulty product was not purchased on this website there is no applicable warranty provided by us. Please note that we document all product serial numbers and their corresponding buyer.

Normal wear and tear, damage due to misuse, any alteration of any kind to the product, or negligence renders the warranty void.

There are no warranties on items such as stickers, books, charts, NORM check sources, etc.

Radiation Readiness reserves the right and discretion in determining at anytime what products or services have a warranty.

Disclaimer of product liability

Radiation Readiness offers its products to you under the condition that you accept without modification of the Terms, Conditions, and Notices contained herein. Your continued use of the products, services and website constitutes your manifestation of assent to the Terms, Conditions, and Notices contained herein.

The products sold are NOT intended for use by children. Products are sold to be used and operated by adults.

By purchasing any product sold by Radiation Readiness expressly warrants that the buyer is in compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations regarding the ownership and use of the product.

It is the buyers responsibility to comply with all federal, state and local laws governing the sale of any products listed or sold.

The buyer expressly agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Radiation Readiness for all claims, searches and seizures of any product resulting directly or indirectly from the purchase, ownership or use of the item in violation of of applicable federal, state and local laws or regulations. 

Buyer further warrants that he or she is 18 years of age or older, and understands that some products sold by Radiation Readiness are dangerous if misused.

You should test the product to determine its properties and suitability for your intended use.

RADIATION READINESS EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY DAMAGE, INJURY, HARM, COST, EXPENSE, OR LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OR MISUSE OF THEIR PRODUCT(S).

RADIATION READINESS WILL NOT BE LIABLE TO YOU UNDER ANY LEGAL THEORY, WHETHER IN WARRANTY, CONTRACT, STRICT LIABILITY, TORT, OR NEGLIGENCE, FOR ANY DAMAGES, CLAIMS, INJURIES, JUDGMENTS, COSTS, OR LIABILITIES OF ANY KIND ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OR MISUSE OF THIS PRODUCT, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, PERSONAL INJURY, DAMAGE TO PROPERTY, LOSS OF BUSINESS, LOSS OF INCOME, SPECIAL DAMAGES, INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, WHETHER FORESEEABLE OR UNFORESEEABLE. IN NO EVENT WILL RADIATON READINESS’ LIABILITY EXCEED THE VALUE OF THE PRODUCT(S) AND OR SERVICES SOLD.

You agree to indemnify, hold harmless, and defend Radiation Readiness, employees, agents, successors, and assigns, from and against any and all claims, demands, losses, damages, rights, and actions of any kind, including, but not limited to, property damage, infringement, personal injury, and death, that either directly or indirectly arise out of or are related to your use of the product or service.

YOU UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT THE USE OF RADIATION READINESS’ PRODUCTS AND THE CIRCUMSTANCES IN WHICH THE PRODUCTS MAY BE USED MAY INVOLVE RISKS AND DANGERS OF SERIOUS BODILY INJURY, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, PERMANENT DISABILITY AND DEATH. YOU FULLY ACCEPT AND ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS AND ALL RESPONSIBILITIES FOR LOSSES, COSTS, AND DAMAGES THAT YOU MAY INCUR AS A RESULT OF YOUR USE OF THE PRODUCTS. YOU WILL NOT MAKE RADIATION READINESS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE RISKS AND DANGERS INHERENT IN DANGEROUS SITUATIONS.

It must be understood that while Radiation Readiness sells reserviced radiation detecting equipment and provides information concerning such topics, the items are not certified nor the information recommended to be used for Health and Safety or ‘critical to health’ situations.

Severance

Each provision of these Terms and Conditions of Sale shall be construed separately and independently of each other and the validity of any one part shall not affect the validity of any other part.

Law

These Terms and Conditions of Sale shall be governed by the laws of England and you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. We are required by law to inform you that sales can be concluded in English only and that no public filing requirements apply.
